The new set of essays turns to the Economics of Transformative AI—technology that could usher in economic change comparable to the Industrial Revolution but with far greater speed and scope.

The Digitalist Papers is a project of the Stanford Digital Economy Lab. Building on the first volume’s focus on AI and democracyVolume 2 offers serious yet accessible roadmaps, frameworks, and open questions for navigating the economic challenges and opportunities of the AI age.
