Join Cantos and the Stanford Digital Economy Lab for an intimate, private screening of The Thinking Game—the acclaimed feature documentary chronicling Demis Hassabis and the rise of Google DeepMind, as they pursue one of the most ambitious challenges in modern science: building AGI.
Spanning years of unprecedented behind-the-scenes access, the film explores the intersection of neuroscience, computation, and human imagination—from the early AlphaGo breakthroughs to AlphaFold’s impact on biology.
This screening will bring together founders, operators, scientists, tinkerers, and investors building in the physical world. There will be time to mingle before and after! We’ll start the film promptly at 7:30pm with a special fireside chat after the film.
