PhD Candidate, Stanford University

Wajeeha is a PhD Candidate in Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University. She attended MIT for her undergraduate degree in Mathematics with Computer Science with minors in Economics and Applied International Studies. She also completed a masters in Technology and Policy at MIT.

At the lab, Wajeeha examines how firms, platforms and organizations can design and govern digital technologies to remain competitive while improving societal outcomes such as the health of the online information ecosystem. Her work involves examining the impact of existing technologies as well as designing and testing new interventions that firms can adopt to both improve their performance and address societal concerns.

To accomplish her research, Wajeeha conducts large-scale field and survey experiments, develops AI agents to collect field data at scale, build new interfaces to study human-AI interaction in field settings, and partners with organizations and entrepreneurs interested in doing the same.
