Assistant Professor, USC Marshall School of Business

Georgios is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Data Sciences and Operations of the USC Marshall School of Business. In his research he is studying the business and societal implications of digital technologies and artificial intelligence with emphasis on product market competition and the future of work.

He was a member of the high-level Panel of Economic Experts providing advice to the European Commission on platform regulation and the EU’s Digital Markets Act. He was also an expert advisor of the Hellenic Competition Commission on its e-commerce sector inquiry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics, master’s degrees in mathematical economics and econometrics, and a PhD degree in economics.
